• Design, layout and calculation of various types of electric motors (e.g. asynchronous and synchronous motors)
• Technical Calculation and simulation of magnetic circuits and the thermal characteristics of electrical machines
• Selection and specification of motor designs
• Automation of calculation tools
• Processing of development inquiries for products with plausibility checks and creation of documents (e.g. winding master cards, characteristic curves for the customer)  

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, or similar
• Profound experience in the design and calculation of electric motors
• Very good user knowledge of programs for the design and calculation of motors
• Good technical understanding and analytical thinking
• Good user skills in the common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong communication skills

• Good negotiating skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in written and spoken English
• German language skills are an advantage
• Strong communication skills, high customer orientation and very good negotiating skills
• High level of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Independent way of working as well as high self-motivation and goal orientation
• This role requires a balance of time in the office and field work. Some travel may be required for client meetings and presentations, therefore a high willingness to travel, especially within the USA.
